GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR

Nizam Mokhtar, a Malaysian, aged 35, was appointed the Group Managing Director of Bostonweb on 1st April 2002. Nizam Mokhtar is a graduate from Boston University with a double major in Finance and Management Information Systems from Boston University School of Management (1998). He has also completed a minor in Economics from Boston University College of Art and Science.

Nizam started his IT careers with United Way of Massachusetts Bay, a non-profit organization that manages about USD 60 million of annual fundraising campaigns. He was the Database Administrator responsible of managing the United Way’s Fund Raising Management Systems. He then joined a small consulting firm, Princeton Resource Associates in Philadelphia where he was more involved with database technologies and ERP systems primarily with SAP R/3. Realizing the huge demand for IT products and services, and not wanting to be in the sidelines, Nizam decided to pursue the entrepreneur world in Information Technology and founded Advosoft Inc. of Boston, USA.

Advosoft Inc. is an I.T. consulting company that specializes in database and e-commerce technologies. Among its clients in the USA are Fidelity Investment, Solectron, HookMedia, Neteos, IBM, and Epsilon. While he was at Advosoft, he was directly involved with a few major projects where he acts as a Senior Consultant specializing in database design and e-business applications and technology training.

Nizam Mokhtar with his vast ICT experience has served as a director and a consultant to a few of local ICT companies to provide an integrated ICT Solutions in the area of application development, strategic ICT consulting, and high-end ICT training. As the Managing Director of Bostonweb Academy, Nizam has successfully utilized his vast technology and business experience to bring Bostonweb Group as one of the market leaders in technology training and education in Malaysia in producing high end knowledge workers for reputable clients from various types of industries nationwide. Nizam Mokhtar is currently oversees and is responsible for the entire operations of the Company.
