EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Yarad Ahmed, a Bangladeshi, aged 34, was appointed the Executive Director of Bostonweb on 1st April 2002. Yarad Ahmed graduated from the School of Management of Boston University in 1997, with a degree in Finance & Information Systems. Upon graduation, Yarad Ahmed worked at local companies in the Boston area on numerous IT implementation projects, and later worked as a Business Consultant in a Philadelphia area IT consulting firm called Princeton Resources Associates. At Princeton Resources Associates, Yarad broadened his horizons in both the areas of IT Consulting and Business Consulting.

Bringing together all his experience, together with Nizam Mokhtar, they founded Advosoft Inc. in January 1999 in Boston, USA. While Yarad was in Advosoft, he was directly involved with a few major projects, where he acted as a Senior Consultant specializing in IT implementation projects.

In 2002, given the downturn of the IT industry in the US, Yarad decided to explore the burgeoning IT education market in Malaysia, and co-founded Bostonweb Academy, and ever since, has been it’s Executive Director and one of the driving forces of this dynamic company.  Yarad Ahmed is currently overseeing the administrative and corporate affairs.  He is also involved in business development and identifying new business ventures for the Company.
