Sargunam Thirugnanam has 20 years of experience in education and training industry. He has held various management positions responsible for academics, examination, quality and programme development in private higher education institutes. He was also involved in developing twinning and franchise courses with some of the British Universities. With his vision, strategy and two decades of experience in private higher education institutes, he contributes to the Bostonweb College for academic management and development. His academic credentials are Master of Business Administration in Finance and Master of Computer Science (India). He is also the member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Project Management Institute (PMI).

Sargunam has started his career as Lecturer in 1991. Through his knowledge and experience in private colleges, he has reached to the level of Director of Academics for a group of colleges. He was also instrumental in formulating the framework and policies for the Centralized Examination Council for the group of colleges. He contributed tremendously for programme development and submission to LAN – Lembaga Akreditasi Negara, Malaysia in 1998. He organized and executed many educational projects and corporate trainings for industries in Malaysia and in Philippines.

Sargunam was also engaged in twinning and franchise (2+1 & 3+0) degree programmes from Northumbria University, East London University and Teeside Tertiary College, UK. He has also worked with Wichita State University, Kansas, USA. He has brought the external programmes from National Computing Centre, City & Guilds and Pitman’s Qualifications. In his previous careers, he has also worked with JPK – Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran and Human Resources Development Council on various skills (MLVK) courses and projects. Sargunam has also carried out research in high performance computer architectures for multimedia processing and presented 3 conference papers/publications in International Conferences. He volunteered as the co-chair for E-Skills@15 project of Tamil Internet Conference 2001 which was officiated and appreciated by Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamed, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia.

At present, he is focusing to bring in undergraduate franchise programmes from London Metropolitan University and University of Wales, UK. As the chief academic officer, Sargunam currently oversees and responsible for the entire academic operations.
